For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 70 senior executives working across all industries in the US, and Europe (UK, France, Germany, Spain, and Italy).

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents commented on how demand for ESG data management software will change in the next 3 years and shared the main reasons for its adoption and how long their organizations have been using it.
  • The survey explored the competitive landscape of ESG software providers, commonly used license types, and the key challenges related to integration, compliance, and vendor support.
  • Lastly, the respondents discussed the key ESG topics for data management and the emerging technologies that will have the greatest impact on the ESG data management software space in the next 3 years.

Examples of findings:

  • 30% of respondents reported that their organization’s annual budget for ESG software is between $250K-$499K, and this budget is expected to increase by more than 30% over the next 3 years.
  • Over three-in-ten (31%) of respondents believe that climate risk and carbon emissions will become the top priority for data management over the next 3 years.
  • Workiva is the most widely used ESG data management software, according to 34% of experts, followed by Sphera by 26%.

Deliverables
