TARGET POPULATION

For this Network Survey, GLG surveyed 90 senior executives working in different industries across the US, Europe (UK, France, Germany, Italy and Spain), Australia and New Zealand.

What will you learn from this survey?

  • Respondents shared insights into the logistics technology landscape, including key selection criteria, reliability benchmarks like system uptime, and KPIs such as customer margin improvement, customer engagement through real-time tracking, and impact on supplier relationships.
  • Furthermore, the survey examined major challenges such as complex software interfaces, high implementation costs, and system disruptions, alongside key unmet needs including better UI/UX and smoother onboarding.
  • Lastly, the research looked at the competitive landscape, comparing providers across areas such as transportation management, warehouse management, supply chain visibility, order management, analytics and reporting, production output, and complains management.

Examples of findings:

  • Over half (54%) have seen a positive impact on supplier relationships and engagement from the use of the current logistics solution.
  • Over four-in-ten experts (44%) reported they have found technical issues or downtime quarterly.
  • Over one-in-three respondents (33%) reported to be satisfied or extremely satisfied with SAP’s performance.

Deliverables

The GLG Surveys team drafted the questionnaire with the support of GLG Network Member, Michael Curtis, Founder and CEO at Think Trip Travel.

  • In your view, how concerned are customers about the increasing cost of living when they are looking at holiday options for 2025?
  • What is the level of interest in themed or niche cruises (e.g., wellness, culinary, cultural immersion, LGBTQ+, etc.) among your customers?
